My name is Gansukh Tamir. I graduated from the Mongolian University of Arts and Culture (SUIS) in 2005 with a degree in Dancer and Choreography. From 2005 to 2009, I worked as a dancer at the “Tumen Ekh” Ensemble of Traditional Heritage and Culture.
Listening to Mongolian music and choreographing movements to it brings me great joy as a teacher. Our ancestral cultural heritage holds profound wisdom. When children learn Mongolian dance, it nurtures their sense of beauty and lays a solid foundation for character and discipline. It also enhances thinking skills and memory, and using both arms and legs in dance stimulates both hemispheres of the brain simultaneously.
The “Tamira’s Dance” group is now ready to accept new students ages 6-14 for our Mongolian Dance and Bii Biyelgee (traditional dance) classes.
